Snowdonia boasts some of the most stunning scenery and proper mountains that require a number of skills to tackle safely. But, If you’re not interested in all that and you’re just looking for someone to show you the way, I can guide you up any of the mountains in Snowdonia or the rest of the UK. 

I have personally climbed all of the highest mountains in Snowdonia numerous times and most of the smaller ones around them too. Being able to share these special and unique places with people is something I take pride in and enjoy. Below is a selection of possible routes followed by prices. 

Snowdon

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and the UK’s busiest mountain with over 500,000 visitors per year. There are a number of routes to the top and its no coincidence that the better routes are the ones that are quieter.

Glyders

The Glyders (Y Glyderau) are a chain of mountains between the northern edge of Snowdonia’s Carneddau and Snowdon itself. Home to 5 of the 14 highest mountains in Wales – Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach and the iconic Tryfan. There is some fantastic walking to be done around this area including the classic Devils Kitchen (Twll Du). 

Don’t be fooled by the beauty of the mountains here, it’s a rugged, unforgiving place with steep drops, slippy rocks and indistinct footpaths which makes them difficult places to explore when conditions are less than ideal. 

Prices

All my mountain walking courses and events are run with purposely low ratios of a maximum of 8 people to 1 instructor. Low ratios mean you get a better, safer and more personal experience. The prices are based on a minimum rate of £240 for a day for up to 4 people. Prices for more than 4 people are additional to the minimum charge.
